What We’re Looking For:

  • Relevant Experience: Prior experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs is highly desirable.
  • Empathy & Patience: A caring and patient approach, with a strong commitment to supporting vulnerable students.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Team Player: Willingness to work collaboratively with teachers, SEN coordinators, and other support staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEMH needs.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individualised support plans.
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and SEN coordinators.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support students in developing social skills, emotional resilience, and positive behaviour.
