Salary: £85 - £100 per day
Hours: Full-time, Term Time Only

Do you have experience working with children or young adults who have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs?

We are currently recruiting a passionate and empathetic SEMH Teaching Assistant for a secondary school in Manchester. You will be supporting students with challenging behaviours, helping them engage positively with their education. This is a long-term position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing 1:1 support for students with SEMH needs
  • Promoting a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Supporting academic and personal development
  • Liaising with SENCOs and other professionals to create personalised learning plans

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • Experience working with SEMH, SEN, or behaviour management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A calm and patient approach
  • Relevant qualifications (desirable but not essential)
