Position: SEMH Teaching Assistant
Location: Accrington
Working Days: 2-3 days per week (sporadic basis)
Hours and pay: 8:30am - 3:30pm - £12.90p/h

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team at a specialist provision catering to pupils aged 10-16. Our students have faced challenges and negative experiences in mainstream education, and we strive to break down barriers to learning, helping them thrive both academically and personally.

Whether you’re a retired teacher, ex-forces personnel, support worker, or care assistant, your unique skills and experience could be invaluable in helping these young people succeed. No formal teaching experience is required – just a passion for supporting young people who need it most.

  • Experience working with children or individuals with SEMH needs
  • Patience, resilience, and a positive attitude
