Are you a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant with experience in supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? If you're looking to make a meaningful impact in a supportive primary school environment, we have an excellent opportunity for you in Stoke.

In this role, you will provide vital 1:1 and small group support to students facing challenges related to their emotional and mental health. You will work closely with teachers and the school’s SENCO to create individualized strategies that help these students thrive academically and socially. Your empathetic approach and ability to build strong relationships will be key in fostering a positive learning environment.

We are seeking candidates who have experience working with children with SEMH needs and a solid understanding of the specific challenges they may encounter in a mainstream classroom. Knowledge of safeguarding practices within a primary school context is essential, as well as the ability to implement effective behavior management strategies.

This full-time position offers competitive PAYE rates of £85 to £90 per day, with weekly pay provided through school timesheets. The school is conveniently located in Stoke, making it easily accessible, and you will enjoy a Monday to Friday schedule. An immediate start is available following registration with our team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
