Teaching Personnel is looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEMH Support Assistant to work in a school in Scarborough. This rewarding role involves working closely with students who need extra support with their emotional well-being and behaviour, helping them engage positively in education and develop their social and academic skills.

  • Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and outside agencies to ensure the best outcomes for each student
  • Experience working with young people with SEMH or similar needs (desirable but not essential)
  • A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
  • The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
  • A DBS check on the update service or willingness to obtain one
