Education and Training

  • Provide 1:1 tutoring to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Develop and implement individualised education plans based on students' needs
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to support academic progress
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for students
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role

  • Understanding of SEN regulations and best practises
  • Proficiency in differentiating instruction to meet individual student needs
  • Strong assessment and evaluation skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students and their families
  • Additional training in SEN support
  • Experience with specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia or autism
  • Work in pupils home settings with individual students
  • Potential for flexible working hours based on student needs
  • Collaborative work with teachers, parents, and educational professionals

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
