Are you a looking for a rewarding role in education? We have an exciting opportunity for you!

Do you have experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?

Location: Hyndburn, Lancashire.

Pay: £12.90 - £13.50 per hour.

Full-time Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30am – 15:30pm

 

Your responsibilities:

  • ·       Confidence to try different behaviour management strategies.
  • ·       Be flexible and adaptable to change and be able to change approaches depending on the situation.
  • ·       Have the ability to build positive relationships.
  • ·       Provide a safe and calm learning environment so that you can engage children in their learning.
  • ·       Support children to gain a better understanding of their own emotions so they can increase their self-esteem and resilience.
  • ·       Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure the child’s development is prioritised.
  • ·       Identify gaps in children’s learning and report to parents and Class Teacher.

 

Requirements:

  • ·       Relevant degree or work experience supporting children with SEN/SEMH needs.
  • ·       Enhanced Child DBS on the update service.
  • An enthusiastic attitude and willingness to learn.
  • The highest commitment to safeguarding and ensuring the safety of pupils.
  • ·       Level 2 or above Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
