SEN Class Teacher

This SEN school are looking to welcome a patient, compassionate and hardworking teacher to their staffing team, starting immediately.

As a SEN Class Teacher you would be working in a class of pupils with severe and complex difficulties, as well as contributing to the wider school and college populations.

SEN Class Teachers are responsible for the overall running of their classes and the organisation, teaching, learning and assessment of educational programmes, behaviour management, other therapeutic programmes, and the welfare of the pupils in their groups.

This opportunity is a wonderful role and a chance to make a real impact towards the academic and social development of pupils with neurological needs and difficulties.

SEN Class Teacher – what makes you suited to this role:

-            QTS / Teaching qualification
-            Plan, deliver, monitor and evaluate the school’s curriculum
-            Teach a range of lessons designed to stimulate and motivate pupils’ learning.
-            Works well independently and as part of a team
-            Eagerness to develop knowledge and skills
-            A full enhanced DBS, which can be processed through Smile Education.
-            Valid right to work in the UK
