SEN Teaching Assistants needed in Newport.

Teaching Personnel are looking for driven and caring teaching assistants who have a passion for working with pupils with Additional Learning Needs. The school, based in Newport, is a mainstream school with two dedicated class bases to support those pupils with ALN and physical needs, and prides themselves on creating a safe and happy learning environment.

The ideal candidate will be supported with relevant training, however we do seek those who have a previous background working with children and young people who have Additional Learning Needs, whether this is personal experience or based within an educational setting.

The Role:

• Support pupils with Additional Learning Needs in all daily tasks.
• Help Prepare the classroom for lessons.
• Adapt resources to suit each pupils needs.
• Engage and support the pupils learning.
• Adapt to any situations that may arise.
• Caring for children’s physical, emotional, and social welfare with may include personal care.

• Competitive daily pay rates starting at £83per day, paid every Friday.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
