As a SENCO in our reputable primary school, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring that children with special educational needs receive the support they need to achieve their full potential. You'll join a passionate team of educators committed to providing high-quality education and support to our diverse student body.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the strategic development of Special Educational Needs provision across the school.
Coordinate the identification, assessment, and provision for students with special educational needs.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to create personalized support plans for students.
Provide guidance and support to staff on best practices for supporting students with special educational needs.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of SEN provision, making adjustments as necessary to ensure positive outcomes for students.
 
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with relevant experience in Special Educational Needs.
Experience working as a SENCO or similar role within a primary school setting.
Strong understanding of SEND legislation, policies, and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external agencies.
Commitment to promoting inclusive practices and ensuring equal opportunities for all students.
