A specialist independent day school in Lancashire is seeking a Lead English Teacher to support students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties. The role involves leading and coordinating the English curriculum, managing literacy and phonics interventions, and developing English as a key academic focus. Additional responsibilities include training staff, reporting to the Senior Leadership Team, and acting as the Careers Officer to ensure compliance with the Gatsby Benchmarks.

Salary: M1 - UPS2, plus an additional £1,500 Expert payment per annum.
Hours: 40 hours per week – Term Time Only

Qualifications: PGCE, QTS, Cert Ed, or equivalent, with experience in SEN, safeguarding, and managing challenging behaviors.
