Education and Training

£20 - £30 Per hour

  • Provide tailored support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in GCSE English and Maths subjects.
  • Create individualised lesson plans to address the specific learning needs of each student.
  • Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly to ensure academic improvement.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other relevant stakeholders to monitor and report on student performance.
  • Implement strategies to enhance students' confidence and motivation in their academic studies.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
  • Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Demonstrated expertise in teaching GCSE English and Maths subjects.

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in tutoring or teaching students with SEN.

  • Strong understanding of SEN support strategies and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs.
  • Organisational skills to effectively plan and manage individualised learning programmes.
  • Work at student's homes in Essex.
  • Full-time hours with flexibility in scheduling to accommodate student needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
