Job Type: Temporary, expected to work full-time hours

Salary: £20 - £30 per hour

  • Provide tailored support and guidance to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Develop individualised learning plans and deliver engaging lessons to promote academic progress
  • Assess students' learning needs and adapt teaching methods accordingly
  • Collaborate with other educators and support staff to create a supportive learning environment
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate with parents/guardians as needed
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
  • Experience working with students with SEN, particularly in Key Stage 3
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in teaching or tutoring students with SEN
  • Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Temporary position based in Wickford, Essex
  • Full-time hours, with flexibility required to meet student needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
