SEN Learning Coach Required - Exeter

Contract Type: Full-time, Temporary to Permanent
Salary: £450 - £475 per week, dependent on experience

Our Partner School, rated 'GOOD' by Ofsted, is seeking a dedicated SEN Learning Coach to join our team, working closely with 11-17 year olds on EHCPs (Education, Health, and Care Plans). This role is in partnership with Teaching Personnel, a leading education recruitment agency, offering a supportive environment to make a significant impact on young learners' lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs, focusing on their individual EHCPs.
  • Assist in the implementation of personalized learning plans and strategies under the guidance of qualified teaching staff.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes engagement and progression.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, external agencies, and parents to ensure holistic support for students.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with young people with special educational needs, ideally within a school or educational setting.
  • Understanding of EHCPs and the ability to implement strategies to support their objectives.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and stakeholders.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to varying needs and challenges.
