Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated SEN Learning Mentor to join our partner school in Exeter. This is a full-time role with the potential to transition into a permanent position for the right candidate. We are looking for someone passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

  • Must drive and have access to a vehicle due to the nature of the role.
  • Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent).
  • Availability for a minimum of 6 months.
  • A genuine passion for supporting young people with SEN and helping them achieve their potential.
  • Provide one-on-one and group support to students with SEN, assisting in their academic, emotional, and social development.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and SEN coordinators to tailor educational plans for students with diverse needs.
  • Support students in managing their behaviour, enhancing self-confidence, and developing positive relationships.
  • Help create a nurturing, structured, and safe classroom environment.
