SEN Learning Support Assistant:
The thriving South Manchester secondary school wish to secure the services of a SEN Learning Support Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis, in and out of the classroom, with this student. This role includes liaising with various class teachers, the schools SENDCo, and the guardians of the student.
SEN Learning Support Assistant – The Role:
- Support a student with an ASC / autism diagnosis
- Carry out 1:1 sessions as well as support within the student classes
- Collaborate with experienced teachers and the schools SENDCo
- Flexible in supporting students across different phases
SEN Learning Support Assistant – Qualifications required: - Previous experience working with ASC / autism
- Level 3 TA or degree level of education preference
- Calm, compassionate and proactive manner
- Excellent communication skills
- Passion and resilience to support secondary students
