Location: West Lancashire and Merseyside Area

Pay: £12.90 - £14.00 per hour

Working hours: Full-time

A welcoming Primary School, which a high proportion of SEND, are seeking an experienced 1:1 Teaching Assistant on a full-time basis (Monday-Friday). The school has a well-resourced SEN designated special provision, which is utilised by children with EHCPs. The majority of the children within the provision have a diagnosis of ASC and speech, language, and communication difficulties. Therefore, experience supporting children with such diagnoses is essential.

The curriculum in the SEN provision is bespoke to the individual children, using the National Curriculum and their Education Health Care Plans. The successful candidate will be confident with planning, preparing, and delivering activities on a 1:1 basis, as well as reporting and assessing progress.

Requirements:

Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant

Training completed relevant to supporting children with a variety of SEND

Level 2 and above qualification

A track record of working with children across the Primary Curriculum
