Teaching Personnel is looking for a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a partner school in Bideford. This full-time, temp-to-perm position provides an exciting opportunity to support students with special educational needs (SEN) and make a meaningful difference in their lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored 1:1 and group support to students with SEN, including autism, ADHD, and other learning challenges.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Help students manage their behaviour, emotions, and social skills.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers and the SENCO to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support daily classroom activities to keep students engaged and progressing.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working with SEN children is desirable but not required.
  • Ability to be patient, flexible, and understanding in challenging situations.
  • A passion for supporting young people in reaching their full potential.
