Salary: £90.00 - £95.00 per day (dependent on experience)

Contract Type: Temp to Perm, Full-time

About the Role: Teaching Personnel is seeking a committed SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a vibrant educational setting in Crediton, Devon. In this role, you will provide vital academic and social support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them to succeed and develop both in and out of the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offering tailored support to students with SEN on a one-to-one basis or in small groups.
  • Assisting with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behavior support strategies.
  • Encouraging independence and confidence in students.
  • Collaborating with teachers and other support staff to foster a positive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children or young adults with SEN, either in education or care settings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine enthusiasm for supporting young people's growth.
