Are you a passionate and experienced primary teacher who thrives in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Teaching Personnel, the UK's leading education recruitment agency, is looking for a dedicated SEN Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Scarborough.

As an SEN Primary Teacher, you will have a key role in supporting and teaching pupils with diverse needs, such as autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, and emotional and behavioural difficulties. Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to meet individual pupil needs
• Creating and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to support progress and development
• Collaborating closely with SEN support staff, therapists, and parents to provide holistic support
• Using a range of strategies to manage behavior effectively and positively
• Assessing and tracking the progress of pupils, ensuring they reach their full potential

We are looking for a committed and empathetic teacher who is:

• Experienced in teaching primary-age pupils with SEN, ideally within an inclusive or specialist school setting
• Knowledgeable in developing and implementing personalized learning strategies
• A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
• Dedicated to creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Strong in communication, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, families, and external professionals
