Look no further! We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to work at a Specialist School Provision for pupils aged 4-19 with ASC.

£130 - £190 per day

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Science lessons tailored to meet the needs of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed
  • Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Participate in Individual Education Plan (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of personalised learning goals
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with students with SEN in a classroom setting
  • Knowledge of the National Curriculum and SEN Code of Practise
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of different learning needs and strategies to support students with SEN
  • Ability to differentiate instruction and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

This role involves working in a classroom setting with students with SEN. The teacher may need to provide additional support and accommodations to meet the diverse needs of the students. The working hours are full-time, and the teacher will be expected to participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and parent conferences as required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
