As an SEN Secondary Teacher, you’ll have the rewarding role of shaping individual learning journeys, adapting your teaching strategies to suit a variety of unique needs, and helping students reach their full potential.

What You’ll Do:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, tailored lessons for students with special educational needs
  • Monitor progress, provide constructive feedback, and offer personalized support
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues, parents, and specialists to foster holistic student development
  • Design and implement individual education plans, adjusting your approach to meet diverse needs
  • Keep accurate records of student progress, attendance, and achievements

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a special educational needs setting
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of SEN strategies, excellent communication, and adaptive teaching techniques

Preferred:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs
  • Specialized training in areas like autism or dyslexia

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
