We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Secondary Teaching Assistant to join our team at a secondary school in Clapham Common. This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive compensation in the education and training industry.

  • Provide classroom support to secondary school students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Assist teachers in implementing individualised education plans for students with SEN
  • Aid in the development of students' academic and social skills
  • Support students in accessing the curriculum and resources
  • Monitor and record student progress and behaviour
  • GCSEs in English and Maths
  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths

  • Understanding of SEN and different learning needs
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Patience and empathy when working with students
  • Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Additional training in SEN support
  • Working hours: Full-Time
  • Active involvement in classroom activities
  • Regular interaction with students, teachers, and parents

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
