Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour

  • Provide specialised tutoring to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Create individualised learning plans tailored to each student's needs
  • Implement strategies to support students in their academic and social development
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods as necessary
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student support
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Specialist knowledge and experience in supporting students with ASD and SEN
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience working with students with ASD and SEN
  • Proven track record of successful student outcomes
  • Understanding of SEN Code of Practise and relevant legislation
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs
  • Training in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) or similar techniques
  • Work primarily in a home setting
  • May require travel to different locations within the East of England region
  • Full-time hours, temporary position

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
