We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Supply Teacher to work in a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Bournemouth, starting in January 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to make a positive impact in a supportive and rewarding environment.

The Role:
As a Supply Teacher in this SEN school, you will:

  • Provide engaging and effective teaching to students with diverse learning needs.
  • Support students with a range of SEN, including Autism, ADHD, and other learning or behavioural challenges.
  • Collaborate with the school's teaching assistants, SEN specialists, and other professionals to ensure the individual needs of students are met.
  • Implement and adapt lesson plans to accommodate various learning abilities, ensuring all students receive the appropriate level of support.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Previous experience working in an SEN environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of SEN best practices and strategies.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
  • A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to teaching.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
