Are you passionate about making education inclusive and accessible for all? We’re looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work with children in a primary school in the NG10 area, supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in SEN or those passionate about making a difference.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one or small-group support to students with additional needs.
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individualized learning plans.
  • Assist in adapting lesson materials to accommodate diverse learning needs.
  • Help students with social skills, behavior management, and classroom engagement.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with SEN pupils in an educational setting (desired but not essential).
  • Patience, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply).
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work.
