SEN Support Assistant
This specialist mixed primary and secondary SEN school based in Darwen are recruiting for support assistants. The school caters for children with a wide range of special educational needs for learners aged 2-19 years.
You will be required to support and guide pupils in their learning journey through fun play, sensory play, and continuous provisions. Many students at this provision require specific additional support, so it will be your responsibility to identify these and adapt your approach accordingly. You will liaise with the class teacher to ensure you are in line with each child’s EHCP (Educational Health Care Plan) and to ensure you are maximising each child’s progression and potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
