Teaching Assistant Role: Supporting SEN Learners in Great Yarmouth

Our specialist SEN branch in Norwich is looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to support students aged 6-16 at an established setting in Great Yarmouth. All pupils have an Educational Health and Care Plan (EHCP) with a primary focus on Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH), and come from diverse backgrounds, each with unique challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with pupils who have Autism and exhibit challenging behaviours.
• Provide customized interventions tailored to individual needs.
• Modify lesson plans to accommodate a wide range of learning abilities.
• Encourage positive behaviours and support personal development.
• Follow EHCP guidelines to ensure effective student support.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
