We are working with a large SEN school based in Berkeley, Gloucestershire. The School are in the process of recruiting for a permanent SEN Teacher to work with their KS4 pupils from September. Both full-time and part-time can be considered for this position and will be discussed at interview.

As the Schools SEN KS4 Teacher, you will be expected to deliver high quality teaching and learning to 11-16 with SEMH and other complex or anxiety related needs who may present with challenging behaviours associated with their diagnosis.

Essential:

  • PGCE, Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent teaching qualification and evidence of in-service training
  • Experience of working in a special school environment and in particular with pupils with SEMH.

 Desirable:

  • Postgraduate diploma in SEN
  • Experience of successfully delivering a differentiated curriculum to pupils with a wide range of needs

Summary:

  • Full time and part time positions available (Discuss at interview)
  • Salary £30,000-£46,523
  • Welcome bonus off £3000 and additional bonuses given

The School is based near Berkeley, Gloucestershire. You can access the school off Pennine way. Parking is available on site.
