Teaching Personnel, in partnership with a specialist SEN school in Bolton, is seeking a dedicated and skilled SEN Teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to join our expert team. Your Role in SEN Education:

As an SEN Teacher, you will be crucial in supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of students with mild to complex SEN. Your creativity, expertise, and dedication will be key in creating an adaptive and supportive learning environment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Individualised Education Plans: Develop and implement tailored education plans that address the unique needs of each student, focusing on both academic and life skills.
  • Specialised Support: Provide high-quality teaching and support to students with complex SEN, ensuring their needs are met through sensory, communication, and physical activities.
  • Positive Behaviour Support: Implement positive behaviour strategies that foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive atmosphere, enabling all students to reach their full potential.
  • Progress Monitoring: Conduct detailed assessments, closely tracking each student’s progress and providing insightful feedback to the wider team, including parents and carers.

About You:

  • Qualified Teacher Status: Must have QTS with experience in teaching children with SEN in an educational setting.
  • Specialist Experience: Knowledge of sensory-based teaching approaches, communication aids, assistive technology, Moving and Handling, or Team Teach training will be advantageous.
  • Key Attributes: You are patient, empathetic, and deeply committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of children with SEN. You embrace and promote inclusive practices and are dedicated to creating a positive learning environment.
