SEN Teacher New

Three R's Teacher Recruitment are looking for a SEN Teacher to join a specialist school offering a range of therapies to support the development, learning and life skills of students with varied special educational needs. 

Building upon your experience working in classes of students with SEMH, you'll help assist two new classes (a total of 32 students) of students aged 5-14yrs old. Starting from September on a full-time basis, you'll have the full support of the school team who are offering additional training to ensure a comfortable and safe environment for all. The school is willing to be flexible for the right candidate, advocating a supportive and accommodating work environment. With a strong focus on positive and therapeutic learning, this school in Kent's countryside on the outskirts of Ashford will provide a beautiful landscape for you, your teaching and your students to flourish. 

The ideal SEN Teacher will:

• Teach small classes with a focus on individual needs and development
• Have experience working with students with SEMH needs
• Demonstrate excellent behavioural management and communication development skills amongst vulnerable students 
• Be prepared to undergo training in physical restraint techniques and apply them when necessary
• Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for vulnerable children

SEN Teacher requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience working with SEMH students
• Strong behavioural management skills and the ability to handle challenging situations
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable children
• A valid driver’s license and the ability to commute to the school
