Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher - Thrapston

A highly reputable SEN school group is seeking an experienced and dedicated SEN Teacher to join their alternative provision in Thrapston. This role involves working with students who have a range of special educational needs, providing a nurturing and tailored learning environment to support their individual development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver personalised learning plans
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Work closely with support staff and external professionals to ensure students receive holistic care
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods accordingly

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience working with children with SEN, particularly in alternative provision settings
  • Strong understanding of SEN strategies and behaviour management
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
