Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher – Alternative Provision (Tees Valley)

A highly regarded SEN school group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join their outstanding alternative provision in Tees Valley. This unique role offers the opportunity to work with pupils who require tailored educational support in a nurturing, inclusive environment.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Demonstrate experience working with children with complex needs, SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health), ASD, or other learning difficulties
  • Show a passion for creating and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons
  • Have a strong understanding of EHCPs and personalised learning plans
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Be adaptable, patient, and empathetic, with a commitment to supporting pupils' emotional and academic growth
