SEN Teacher - Alternative Provision (Thrapston)

A highly respected SEN school group is seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join their alternative provision in Thrapston. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs.

The successful candidate will work with small groups of students who face a range of challenges, including emotional, behavioural, and social difficulties. They will deliver engaging, individualised learning plans in a nurturing environment, helping students develop academically, socially, and emotionally.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN, ideally in an alternative provision setting
  • Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
