SEN Teacher – Alternative Provision (Northamptonshire)

A highly reputable and well-established SEN school group is seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join their alternative provision in Northamptonshire.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a supportive environment that values innovative approaches to education, tailored specifically for children with a range of additional needs. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting students who have experienced challenges in mainstream education, helping them to develop confidence, skills, and academic progress.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent SEN teaching qualification
  • Experience working with children and young people with complex needs, including social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges
  • Knowledge of alternative provision frameworks and experience delivering creative, child-centred lessons
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
  • A positive, nurturing attitude and a strong belief in each child’s potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
