Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher who is experienced in working with students with a range of special educational needs. You will be responsible for designing and implementing Education Health Care Plans (EHCPs), delivering tailored lessons, and collaborating with parents, caregivers, and school staff to support each student's development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging, personalized lessons that address students' specific needs and learning styles.
  • Create and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with students, parents, and school staff.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods as needed to ensure effective learning.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students to reach their full potential.
  • Work closely with other educational professionals, including teaching assistants and therapists, to provide comprehensive support.
  • Provide guidance and support to students with behavioral, emotional, and social challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Special Educational Needs (SEN) experience and/or relevant qualifications.
  • Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate, patient, and committed to student-centered teaching.
