£150 - £220 Per day

1. Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

2. Implement strategies to support students with diverse learning requirements, including those with autism, dyslexia, ADHD, and other learning disabilities.

3. Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their learning goals.

4. Collaborate with other professionals, such as SENCOs and educational psychologists, to create effective learning plans and interventions.

5. Maintain accurate records of student development and progress, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

- Specialism or additional qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN)

- Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practises in SEN education

Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field

Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a similar role with SEN students

- Strong understanding of different learning styles and strategies for SEN students

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students

- Postgraduate qualification in SEN or related field

- Experience working with students across different age groups

- Work primarily in a classroom setting

- May require occasional participation in meetings outside of regular hours

- Collaborate with other professionals in a team-oriented environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
