£120 - £180 per day - depending on experience
- Prepare and deliver engaging lessons for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet individual student needs
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students and parents/guardians
- Collaborate with SENCO and other support staff to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Keep accurate records of student attendance, behaviour, and academic performance
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs
- Knowledge of SEN Code of Practise and relevant legislation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Understanding of different learning styles and strategies to support students with SEN
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Proficient in using assistive technology and resources to support learning
- Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs
- Training in Makaton, PECS, or other communication systems
- Work in a school setting with classroom and individual student support
- Regular interaction with students, parents, and other professionals
- Compliance with school policies and procedures related to safeguarding and SEN provision

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
