A highly reputable SEN school in Darwen is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teacher to join its permanent staff from January 2025.

The successful candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional education to pupils with special educational needs, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Proven experience working with children with a range of SEN, including Autism, ADHD, and moderate to severe learning difficulties
  • Strong knowledge of differentiation and individualised learning plans
  • Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teaching assistants, parents, and external professionals
  • Patience, empathy, and a commitment to the well-being and development of each student

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
