A highly regarded SEN school in Cambridge is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join their permanent team from January 2025. The school offers an inclusive, nurturing environment for students with a range of special educational needs, ensuring each child receives tailored support to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging, individualised lessons for students with SEN.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants, specialists, and parents to support student development.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience working with children with special educational needs, preferably in a similar setting.
  • Strong understanding of various SEN conditions, including autism, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Passion for making a difference in the lives of young people.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
