SEN Teacher (Permanent)
Location: Peterborough
Start Date: January 2025

A highly reputable SEN school in Peterborough is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher to join their permanent team from January 2025. The successful candidate will be passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs, creating a nurturing and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver tailored lessons to meet the individual needs of students with diverse SEN profiles
  • Work closely with support staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure holistic support for each child
  • Create an inclusive, engaging, and safe classroom environment
  • Implement and adapt individual education plans (IEPs)

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Proven experience working with SEN students in a school setting
  • Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and behavior management techniques
  • Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
