We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher to work in schools across Liverpool and the surrounding areas. Position Overview:
As an SEN Teacher, you will work with students who have a range of special educational needs, including learning difficulties, autism, and physical disabilities. You will be responsible for delivering tailored lessons that meet the individual needs of students, ensuring they are engaged and progressing academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver differentiated lessons that cater to the individual learning needs of students with SEN.
  • Work closely with teaching assistants, support staff, and external professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
  • Monitor and assess students’ progress, adjusting teaching strategies to meet their needs.
  • Create a supportive and nurturing classroom environment where students feel safe and encouraged.
  • Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies as required.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers about student progress and needs.
  • Stay updated on best practices and developments in SEN education.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification with experience in SEN teaching.
  • A thorough understanding of various special educational needs and appropriate teaching strategies.
  • Experience working with students with SEN, particularly in an educational setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt lessons to suit a range of abilities.
  • Commitment to helping all students succeed and develop their skills.
