SEN Teacher - Barnstaple (Permanent)
Starting January 2025 or Sooner

A highly respected group of schools, specialising in Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) and Special Educational Needs (SEN), is seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN teacher to join their Barnstaple team. This is a permanent position offering an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people with additional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and tailored lessons to meet individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Support students with a range of SEMH and SEN needs
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including therapists and support staff
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes emotional and academic growth

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with students with SEMH/SEN
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to teaching
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
