Permanent SEN Teacher – Bury St Edmunds
Start Date: January 2025 or sooner

A highly reputable SEMH/SEN school group is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN teacher to join their outstanding team at their Bury St Edmunds site. This is a permanent, full-time position within a thriving and supportive educational environment that caters to students with a range of special educational needs, including Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to individual student needs
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to support holistic student development
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans (IEPs) and monitor progress

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Proven experience working with SEMH/SEN students
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to teaching
