Job Opportunity: SEN Teacher (Permanent)

A highly reputable SEMH/SEN school group is seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join the permanent staff at their Northampton site from January 2025, or sooner if available. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a supportive and dynamic team, committed to providing high-quality education for students with Special Educational Needs and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and personalised lessons to meet the needs of students with complex learning profiles.
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with support staff and external professionals to develop Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to students, parents, and carers.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with students with SEMH/SEN in a school or similar setting.
  • Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
  • Patience, resilience, and a commitment to making a real difference in young people's lives.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
