Permanent SEN Teacher – FROME (Starting January 2025 or Sooner)

An established and highly regarded SEMH/SEN school group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join their dynamic team at their Frome site on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified individual passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering tailored education plans to pupils with SEMH and other complex needs.
  • Fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, including support staff, therapists, and parents.
  • Monitoring progress and adapting teaching strategies accordingly.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children with SEMH/SEN, ideally in a specialist school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of SEND code of practice and inclusive teaching strategies.
  • Ability to inspire and engage students with diverse learning needs.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Resilient, patient, and adaptable approach to teaching.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
