A highly respected alternative secondary provision in Salford is seeking a dedicated General Teacher to join its permanent staff before Christmas 2024. This rewarding role involves delivering Functional Skills in English and Maths up to Level 2, supporting students in a nurturing, personalized environment.

Role Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
• Proven experience teaching Functional Skills in English and Maths up to Level 2
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, particularly those who may have faced challenges in mainstream settings
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit to work closely with the team to support individual learning plans
• Adaptability and patience, with a commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
