Teaching Assistant Position: Supporting SEN Learners in Breckland

Do you have experience working with students who have Special Educational Needs (SEN) at both primary and secondary levels? Are you passionate about assisting children with Additional Learning Needs (ALN)? If so, we want to hear from you!

Our specialist SEN branch in Norwich is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join a special school located in Breckland, dedicated to children with complex needs and/or autism. This school serves students from Reception through Year 13, all of whom have an Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP) that specifies their unique needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with students who have autism and complex behaviours.
  • Provide individualized interventions tailored to each child’s specific needs.
  • Adjust lesson plans to accommodate a variety of learning styles and requirements.
  • Promote positive behaviours and support personal growth.
  • Follow EHCP guidelines to ensure a successful educational experience for every student.
