  • Provide support to students with special educational needs (SEN) in the classroom setting
  • Assist the class teacher in implementing individual education plans for students with SEN
  • Help students with SEN to engage with learning activities and support their social and emotional development
  • Work with small groups of students or on a one-to-one basis to provide targeted support
  • Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Relevant experience working with children or young people with SEN
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Relevant experience working with children or young people with SEN

  • Understanding of the needs of students with SEN
  • Ability to provide individualised support and adapt teaching methods as needed
  • Good organisational skills and ability to manage time effectively
  • Work in a school setting with students with SEN
  • Full-Time hours, Monday to Friday preferred
  • Potential for additional training and professional development opportunities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
