Teaching Personnel is delighted to be partnering with secondary schools in Croydon that are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive educational environment for all students, including those with special educational needs. We are currently seeking compassionate and proactive SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team, supporting secondary students with diverse learning needs in both one-on-one and classroom settings.

The ideal candidate will:

• Provide attentive, individualized support to students with various SEN needs, including autism and ADHD.
• Foster a nurturing, structured environment that enables students to thrive academically and socially.
• Collaborate closely with SENCOs, teachers, and other staff to implement tailored learning strategies.
• Adapt to different classroom settings and demonstrate resilience and patience.

Requirements:

• Experience working with SEN students, particularly in a secondary setting, is preferred but not essential.
• A genuine passion for supporting the learning and development of students with additional needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
